alrighty, perhaps it's about high time i said something.

i am back from sunny ole espanol, and have been for a week. i spent christmas weekend watching loads of telly cos they've been showing really good films, i made christmas dinner of herb-butter roast chicken with roast potatoes and a carrot and swede mash for my housemate and i, i've attempted to read my contract textbook but i ended up baking cinnamon loaf instead, i've repotted several plants around the house, i've visited the supermarket many times this week and have been spending lots of money on food and wine, and i'm on my 4th novel (the magus, john fowles) this holiday.

things i will be doing in a while include watching even more telly, submitting my vacation placement applications, reading more books, baking more yummylicious things, going to bristol for new year's, making herbal tonic soup for my friend who's going away to china for two months, and rearranging my room.

i apologise for seeming rather uncommunicative and brusque, but my muse has flown. either that or it's gone away for the holidays.
